News: The Sims Stories Revealed

Although rumours have been floating around for a while now, The Sims Stories has been announced today. This is a new product line of the Sims, which will be focused mostly on new players who are not yet too familiar with the game. The games are not compatible with any expansion or stuff packs of the Sims 2, but each game will be a standalone one. The main new features consist of a story mode, in which you follow a Sims' linear story as The Sims Division made it, but also its laptop-friendliness. Click on Read More for the full story.

News: The Sims: Life Stories leaked screenshots

Although there's no press release announcement of The Sims Life Stories yet, just an information page, some screenshots of the upcoming Life Stories have already leaked. The screenshots probably show Riley and Vince, as described on the about page, as well as one Create A Sim screenshot. As you can see some objects from Sims 2 expansions are included, like the Nightlife bowling alley or the University guitar. The images were posted by the Czech fan site (unofficial), and supposedly come from EA. The (European) release date of 9 February is also mentioned by the website.
