One of the most popular programs to clone and "create" new objects for your Sims is called "The Sims Transmogrifier".

The site addy is: http://www.lushcreations.com/

The Sims Transmogrifier is a free creativity tool that lets you clone The Sims objects, and edit their name, price, description and visual appearance.

I hope that helps. Good luck. I am just learning how to use it. There are some pretty decent tutorials out there, including the one at the T-Mog site.

Happy Simming!

T-Mog is easy for some to use and not so easy for others. It really depends on the tutorial you find, as some of them are more confusing than not. They either left some steps out or added too many, for example. You will also need a paint program like PSP 7 to use with T-Mog.

I think the "green flamingo" tutorial that the creator of The Sims Transmogrifier wrote is probably the best one to get started with. You turn the pink flamingo into a green one, using T-Mog, a paint program and the tutorial.

I have to admit, since I am not terribly good at figuring things out without someone physically "showing" me, side-by-side, I couldn't do it til my SIL came and helped me through it.

I hope you have good luck with it. I am anxious to find the time to really sit and start to create some cool paintings, re-color some of my fave furniture and more.
